A very British response to a crisis

Posted 12.04.20  - Culture

Since re-purposing our Gloucester workrooms and our machinists turning their hand to the production of NHS scrubs, we noticed several of our colleagues, peers and friends, across the industry and beyond, doing their bit to celebrate and support our key workers and NHS staff. We thought we would share some of those we felt you’d enjoy, in what is proving to be a very British response to this very global crisis.

Redirecting homegrown, organic and seasonal produce you’d expect to grace your plate at London’s best restaurants for home delivery is such an ingenious response to the global crisis. Every week, nominations open for you to nominate your loved ones working on the front line to receive a veg box.

Finally, for much needed light relief we turn to one of our greatest Britons, Sir Patrick Stewart. The acting giant, known for his extensive work on stage as well as higher-profile roles sci-fi classics such as Star Trek and the X-Men franchise, who it turns out, is quite savvy on the socials is delighting us all here at Turnbull with a daily Shakespearean sonnet via his IGTV.
