For those days spent behind the wheel and occasions that call for effortless elegance, Turnbull & Asser has created an individually numbered limited edition collection developed for Concours of Elegance 2026, celebrating the enduring relationship between British craftsmanship and the spirit of motoring.

Founded in St James's in 1885, the house has long been part of the neighbourhood that was home to London's gentlemen's clubs and a gathering place for Britain's pioneering motorists, racing enthusiasts and sporting elite. This capsule draws inspiration from that shared heritage and spirit of precision, discipline and quiet daring. 

At the heart of the collection is a lightweight driving jacket, engineered to deliver comfort while maintaining impeccable elegance. Discreet side zips provide greater ease when seated behind the wheel, while zipped elbow gussets enhance freedom of movement. Lightweight and packable, it can be rolled up and stored in a glove compartment, ensuring it is close at hand when the weather changes.

The capsule is completed by leather driving-gloves for ladies and gentlemen as well as silk scarves, a cravat and pocket squares inspired by the chequered flag. More than the finish of a race, the chequered flag symbolises strategy, precision and calculated decisions: like a chessboard, every move on the circuit demands the same foresight and judgement as every move on the board. 

The pocket squares combine the chequered motif with Turnbull & Asser’s signature double-stripe, made synonymous with the house by Roberto Menichetti, bringing together the worlds of British motoring and British craftsmanship in a single design.
