Construction Details
Boasting a Whangee bamboo handle with distinctive, uneven ridges, this umbrella includes an Acer wood shaft spliced into it, resulting in a two-piece construction that ensures both solidity and durability. Sourced from Japan, Whangee bamboo is a traditional material renowned for its use in umbrella handles, adding sophistication to any style. Mounted with a Turnbull & Asser Sterling Silver collar and a high-grade, water-repellent polyester canopy, this umbrella has a 25-inch frame and an approximately 50-inch canopy spread when open. Our full-size umbrellas can also be used in place of a cane or walking stick, provided the rubber ferrule at the top of the umbrella is placed over the metal ferrule to reduce the risk of slipping on pavements.
